i think the xbox 360 is way to big not alot of people like big its like a tower on a computer
ps3 i think this might not be this good because they have said sooo much about this and when it comes out people would be really disappointed because it wont be what they think it would be like
nintendo revolution i think this one will be the big one,becausee this is different from the others its shape is weird(weird is good),its black(ps3&xbox360 are white),they'v not shown us alot about it this will make alot of people getting it....so its going to be the most different game of all the 3 and pluse nintendo is home of games
all of them will have a good start off on the first 11 or 2 weeks then go up or down is up to the public

Well I'm not judging yet, tbh I don't think anyone should. Why?

Because none of them are released yet. None of us have played on any, so how do we know? I am getting the Xbox 360 and the Revolution. All we know is the specs and seen demos of the game in action. But the Revolution, we have heard nothing about, same with the PS3, really. Although we know the sepcs and images from games.

I'm waiting till they are all released before I make my decision.

im unsure but i think xbox 360 may be most successful because it is coming out before christmas.. but next year it will probably be the ps3... i prefer sony/playstation things.. because the xbox was like a computer you buy it then you have to buy alot of addons to do the same things that the ps2 could.. eg. play dvds.
i dont think the revolution will be very good.. as i have said in other threads i think things made by nintendo are more childish things aimed at younger kids and nintendo consoles dont really take off.. eg. gamecube.. playstation will probably be the best because they get all of the best games.. xbox and nintendo do get most of the games aswell... but most of the time its like a year later.. the ps3 is the most powerful of all of those consoles and apparently is going to have the biggest harddrive.. ive played on the xbox360 and the graphics are outstanding and the handling is very good.. but ill have to stick with the ps3 ;)

actually you are wrong.. the ps3 is going to be released in 3 different colors and the xbox360 is going to have inter-changeable face plates so the xbox360 will be any color you want it to be you will just need to change the faceplate ;)

Although I would go for the PS3, I'm unsure about its price, from what I've heard about the price, its going to be something ridiculous like £350+.
I'm deffinatley going to invest in the Xbox 360 because I enjoy playing my current Xbox, ever since it was released, its been a good console.
The Nintendo Revolution, I havn't heard or seen much about, I've seen the controller and I think its looking rather awckward to handle, I guess we all like to see some change but maybe not a durastic as this?

As much as I would like the PS3 to do well, the only down fall for it is the unsettled price. The Xbox 360 basically explains it all and the Nintendo Revolution, I havn't seen advertised as much and I havn't really heard alot about it.

I think the 360 will sell the best (Pre Christmas release), and therefore ending up with the best games on seen as the publishers will want the most sales ;) Ensuring microsoft dominence. However I also think the ps3 will do well thanks to its large fan boy base.

yes, but Microsoft Developed the Xbox 360 before Sony developed PS3 so in the end, Sony made the PS3 have better graphics, and therefore it will be a hit (I tihnk Xbox 360 looks nicer than PS3 though)

i voted 360 simply because its guna have halo 3! half life 2! and many other great games. and the ps3 have them stupid controlers that look like boomerangs and revolution seems ok but i never got into there kind of games i always prefered shoot em ups and racing games.. :d + ps3 copied alot of stuff and ideas from the 360, and ps3 talk alot of poo... Listen to this, xbox 360 - 2 times faster than house hold computer - possible cos microsoft make computers.. ps3 - 10 times faster than a house hold computer - basicly impossible because sony make poo computers and if they have made it so powerful they must have stole the technoligy....

Its pretty ovious that Sony will sell the most even though it ocmes out last.
But this time im not sure about the 360 and the Revolution. The Revolution has shown off loads of new fetures, Like: It can download any Super NES or Nintendo 64 Game On it. And it is quite small and can play all Gamecube games and doesnt need memory cards and can now play DVD's. It is also the cheapest. (How kind of Nintendo) I haven't heard much of the 360 at all. But i hope Revolution will be eally good. And Own Sony for once! Nintendo Owns.

Well, I'm getting xbox 360, reason : Xbox live, free ethernet cable, 20gb hard drive look
Ps3 doesn't have online (in BETA) and it looks ugly.
And for you noobs who are saying Xbox360 is £280 well it is, but that's for the noobs ( the core pack) if you're a serious gamer you only have to spend £50 more (£325) and you get so much more.

Actually the Core System is £210 and the premium is £280.

I voted Revolution because it's innovative. I can't really judge any of them because I don't know enough about them.

Hmm.. I voted for the Revolution. Nintendo has never disappointed me and I don't believe that will change. I'm not a real stickler for the graphics as long as the games are fun, and Nintendo does a great job at that. It wouldn't be very useful if game consoles had superb graphics and terrible games. The new shape the Nintendo Revolution has taken is a big plus. I'm a very open-minded person and I love the fact that Nintedo is willing to create change instead of following the same box-shaped consoles in the market today. (Including the Gamecube =/)

I've seen some pictures of the Playstation 3, and frankly, I'm not impressed. It's too plain for my taste. The controllers seem kind of awkward. As a matter of fact, I thought someone had done a cheap alt of the Playstation 3 at first! Then I realized that this was their final product. Lmao! Sony tends to release very "slapped-on" interfaces that look like mock-ups of other products. Kudos to them on the graphics though. :D

The Xbox 360 has many features, I must say, but it wouldn't hurt to make it a bit more compact. I don't really enjoy Microsoft products, and the Xbox is no exception. Although this will be the best-seller for Christmas, you also have to take in mind that it be the only console out there (I tihnk), so it won't leave much room for the other two consoles to compete, lol.

One interesting thing I found is that most people who would prefer the Xbox 360 or the PS3 are very closed-minded and refuse to accept change.
I'm not saying anyone here is closed minded, but if the shoe fits.. :P

Without a doubt it will be the ps3.. BUT if your looking for value for money, then buy the 360. Because when the ps3 eventually hits the streets it will cost about £400 and the 360 will be £200 or so..
I would buy the 360 but I ABSOLUTELY despise the controllers.. I mean I would rather try and play it with a Sega controller *shudder* :)

The Playstation 3 is going to be better than the rest of the console because they hae been spending AGES on it. They are alos looking at the Xbox 360 and seeing how they can do better than it. Good point.

I'm sure it does really lye on the actual game itself, for one, thats what you do with a console. And being that some games don't support the full power towards some of those consoles does really count on the gameplay etc...

I think this thread is more like an estimated opinion/bias type discussion.

I think we relate to it as a 'kidies console' because of the graphics, the characters, very cartoon like. Most of the games on Nintendo are played by the majority of kids and adults who have been fans since Nintendo firs released there consoles.

I don't think they offer much, thats why some people prefer other consoles because Nintendo don't really have anything eye catching, most games are an update of there previous games, the rest are released on other consoles such as the PS2 and Xbox which overall, have a better gameplay.

Most Nintendo games don't really appeal to me. I like the classic multiplayer games (Mario Kart, Wario Ware - Such fun). Plus, Zelda and Metroid. People didn't like Wind Waker 'cause of its cel shaded graphics. It still turned out to be a good game. And Metroid, nothing kiddy whatsoever.
