As quite alot of people like to post thier event's here, i decided to come up with a few little tips to make people notice your event more.
1. Don't make the post too short.
For example, "come to my room for a givaway at 6:00" posting your event this short doesn't reveal all the details of the event and doesnt make your event seem worth attending.
2. Include as Much detail as possible
Im not saying post a huge essay here, im just saying if you were to hold an event such as a givaway, it may help the reader if you were to post:
* The room where the event is held.
* The room's owner.
* The date & time of the event.
Plus, you could include a few more optional details such as why the givaway is being held, seems most givaways are held to promote something, please state it in your post.
3. Do Not post when the event is over
Please don't start a new thread telling us when your event is over, because if you posted the date and time in the first post, the forum moderators will simply close the thread.
If you follow these short simple pointers, your event may get more noticed and it will cause less work for the hard working moderators of the forum :P
