Police have a charged a 44-year-old woman with the murder of a pensioner in a Cardiff shop on Wednesday.
Valerie Thomas, 75, died after being stabbed in the back while shopping in Poundstretcher on Church Street.
The woman, who has not been named, will appear before Cardiff magistrates on Saturday.
Detective Superintendent Paul Kemp, who is leading the investigation, said he is "very keen" to hear from people who witnessed the incident.
Late on Thursday, police were granted a further 36 hours to question the woman arrested at the scene on the day of the attack.
On Friday afternoon Mr Kemp said he wanted to trace people who were in the shop at the time of the attack. "I do believe there are still a number of shoppers who were in Poundstretcher on the day in question," he said.
