I've always enjoyed game based movies... even the bad ones like Super Mario Bros. or Double Dragon... I'm looking foward to the new Mortal Kombat movie.

About two people eloping ^_^

Lara Croft, game then a movie, Final Fantasy: Advent Children, based on FF7, 2 years later. Tom Clancy is a writer, alot of his books get made into games, it's no suprise that there is a movie being made. Mortal Combat was a movie first too.

Well, no. Grand Theft Auto is a film, yes. But they're unrelated. They're just both generally about that crime.

Yeah I'm looking foward to the next Mortal Kombat movie, they took suggestions from people so I hope that helps.

Though I heard about another Resident Evil movie...

Grand Theft Auto is actually a term for a crime. Which is car stealing. And Halo is from a book that turned into a game thats turning into a movie. Same with Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

the movie Mortal Combat had nothing to do with the game Mortal Kombat. And the game was released 4 years before the movie.

Eh, quoted the wrong person buy you get what I'm saying.

There was a martial arts movie called "Mortal Combat" around that time... the game is called "Mortal Kombat" and had nothing to do with the movie spelled the other way. It was based off of earlier martial arts tournament movies like "Bloodsport". They even tried to get Jean-Claude Van Damme to play to role of Johnny Cage but he refused.
