hey people , i have to have my Braces Fitted tomorrow , And in ways i'm excited and scared. And i bet people will call me brace Face like they did with my Friend because he has Braces. And when people call me names i just feel all weird and uncomfortable :( And Hurt and people will make fun of me

Same with our school.
No one would make fun of braces at our's because alot of the popular people have had them fitted aswell. :)
Even if they ARE shallow enough to call you 'brace face' then just tell them to stick their comments where the sun doesn't shine because their un-meaningful comments mean nothing to you. :) It's what's on the inside that counts remember. <3

My little brother who's nearly 11 has to have braces because his mouth is too small for all of his teeth so, you know where you have the front two teeth, then the next ones afte that? He doesn't have them ones! :o So he has to have braces, I don't get why though? :s

I'm getting braces on Tuesday but you can't bite properly for two days or so. I hate soup also so I'll have to eat yogurt and scrambled egg all day.

lies only for the first 2 days after u get them tightened i have braces when they say u cant chew gum or candies or nething they lie i eat everything i only cant eat it after tightenings :P

lol yeh , Well errm i wont be able to eat for a while so i'm just having some crisps now lol... i couldn't eat or drink or wash my mouth out for 5 hours after i had my teeth taken out recently... i was in agony! and my mouth felt like it was blown up like a balloon .... the injections were murder!

yeah, i had to have 6 teeth out, that was hell ;[ i wasn't allowed to brush my teeth until the next day, that was disgusting ;'[

Yo peeps , unfortunatly my teeth have moved since my last mould. SO he has done a new mould of my teeth so he can get the brace properly fitted .. i hjave to go back on november the 10th

It should hurt for about a week when they are fitted so make sure you stock up on ice cream and soup! I have braces and no one makes fun of me they all say they wish they could have them! Good luck

When youv'e finished the treatment, it will be all worth the time. Mu treatment i8s finished in 7 Weeks :P

The pain of the brace hurts worse than name calling... Hardly anyone laughs at people with braces anymore. It's too common.

They are a brace that you can't take off. Didn't your orthadontist tell you :o And most people I know have them, you should have seen them around :o

i think i have to take two trips to the authododontistafafsdsgs how ever it's spelt. Because he only tried to fit the one you could take out in last monday. So i guess my train tracks will be on another day.. Roll on november 10th!
