As the title says really...What bands annoy you the most, whether its from Hip Hop to death metal, the one group or band even artist that makes you sooo pee'd off :@

Well, mine would have to be Girls Aloud. They cannot sing, there simply stuck on a stage and DUB the singing.
There just made to look pretty, Slap on some orange paint, literally slap a 'You've been tango'd' sticker and away you go!
They havn't got any talent at all and when there put up to some good singers e.g Joss Stone, they'll get demollished.

I can't believe no ones said Gorillaz yet :o I personally like their songs but most people I know think theyre freaky and don't like them :o

I can basicly respect every band/artist that doesnt have these things:
1. in it for the fame/money
2. There are 5+ people but only 3 intruments (Usually guitar, drum and bass) unless of course the guitar is really good and they actually use the guitars like velvet revolver. Im talking about the bands with 2 guitarests, neither are the lead singer and they just play the same strum.
3. Bands that act like they have the worst life ever, many poser emo bands today.
4. Artists that name their band after the lead singer, thats what really gets me mad about the dave mathews band.
5. Bands that try to make their music into a fashion style.
6. Bands that scream throughout the whole song. Screaming is to show emotion, but when you scream through the whole song, it takes away the emotion and makes it sound just normal.
7. Bands that swear/talk about violence (most who do Im sure have never actually been in a real gang fight)/talk about how rich they are
8. Bands where the songs sound the same as each other.
9. Solo artists like avril lavine and hillary duff who call themselves rock stars. You sing, and the band is concentrated on you, and only you. Thats pop. You are a pop artist with a back up band the record company gave you.
10. Try to draw attention to themselves
11. Bands that are just an image. Such as the *****cat dolls. No one would listen to them if it was a bunch of fat/ugly girls, everyone knows it.

So, bands that fit this criteria: Simple plan, good charollette, hillary duff, slipknot, *****cat dolls, click 5, black eyed peas, 50 cent, lindsey lohan, atreyu, nickelback and there are many more that I cant think of.

Again, I can respect anything, but if you cross one (some if you have you can get by with) of those 11 things I put down, I lose almost all respect for you.

PS. I can respect new green day actually. It isnt bad that a band tries to change their style (they are 16 years old, maybe a change would do good), I really think its the people that listen to them now ruined it. They are butchering every song one by one which is annoying me.

I think they have been an amazing band over the years, like a British U2 almost. Everybody Hurts is one of the best songs of all time. Actually, I can- and I did! ;D Believe it or not, I used to like rap at a time (my rap-phase?) and I found all "neo-rap" to be repetative, non-original, and re-hashed out of old stuff. Some singers have amazing voices, like you said, but what good is that voice if it isn't making good music? The only "hop" I enjoy is Trip-Hop, which is really relaxing. ;p

Well I'm generally into IDM, electronica, cyber, industrial, some alternative/hard metal, happy hardcore, modern-classical, some trip-hop here and there, techno-industrial (Not to be confused with techno, which is kind of poo.), some JPop and JRock, darkwave, some indie, synthpop, futurepop, and even some chanson (Bjork <3). I can't really describe the things I listen to besides it being electronica.

I used to use Limewire a lot and whenever I'd do a search for Linkin Park, it would say "death metal, hard metal, goth rock" on the Genres section. XDD

So?... People from different bands do stuff with one another. The lead singer of the foo fighters has drummed for dozens of bands, doesnt mean he sold out. Micheal Stipe just likes being with other bands. R.E.M. basicly invented alternative anyway, pretty hard to sell out.

My music folder contains so many different genres: pop, rnb, soul, jazz, ska, "emo" (whatever that is these days!), punk, rock, etc etc.

And I LOVED Busted. Personally, I saw nothing wrong with them - it was just well crafted pop-music (suppose, you have to like pop music though, lol) and they had much sucess because of it. James Bourne is a very talented pop-song writer. I like McFly and Son of Dork as a result.
