well i dunno if this is a help
but otherwordly beings give quite alot of xp per one
they are level 64 and found in lost city
close to the bank (opposite side of it)
and they are easy to beat
200 xp + per one

No more boring than training combat - at least this way you gain 2 levels at a time.
Plus, slayer monsters drop good things.
