I believe trialists can enter, but if you have passed your trial before the competition finishes, you wont be able to win :)

All the time your user title says you are trialist you can enter. The moment your title changes you can't. When a winner is announced if they are still trialists then they are eligible to win, if they have become permanent staff then their entry is no longer valid. So yeah enter by all means if you are still on trial.

Imagine this scenario ok!
100 entries of which 4 correctly enter the correct numbers. Two entries are staff and two ordinary members. We have a draw and the winner is a member of staff. As a member what do you think might go through their minds? Yeah yeah its all a fix.
We cant be put in this positition. It just wouldnt do.

Hopefully now you have a better understanding of how and why competitions are run the way they are. I hope this clarifies your thinking.

If members entered their numbers correctly as suggested in the competition, by entering their numbers without any spaces or commas etc etc. Then there would be no need to edit entries that are incorrectly entered. It's so quick and easy to search a thread for the winner/s. Sadly quite a few don't read carefully enough and this means we do have to check every entry to be on safe side.

Don't you ever read any of the announcements on the forum? :s :s :s

Every single competition winner is announced in Announcements. Every single competition is edited with when the winners were announced and who the winners were.

That statement is soooooooooooooooo untrue! Firstly you have to be in it to even attempt to win it. It's also about luck, how lucky are you with numbers?

The last time the lotto was won was the 6th Lotto. Thats why the 10th Lotto carries such a great prize of 5 hcs. Someone will win it eventually, I would laugh if it was you. Wouldn't you be embarrassed :p

That's a great idea. Now I realise why you should put no spaces or commas between your numbers :).

You learn something new every day...
