Latasha was fat and ugly. So she said. And so did all those bullies, all the popular crew, but the leader of the popular crew, the strongest and prettiest and Ashleigh, Everyone looked at Ashleigh. She was gorgeous, with glossy brown curls and lightly tanned, Latasha felt even more dumpy and horrible next to her, but Ashleigh strangely stuck by her, told her all her secrets.
Latasha was walking home with Ashleigh, every boys eyes looked up as they walked down the street, Latasha strangely hoped that they were looking at her, though she knew they was looking at Ashleigh. But then, one lad, one fit lad caught her eye. He exchanged my loving gaze at him, and smiled at me, he waved too and I knew he was looking at Ashleigh. No, No, it was her she was looking at. When her and Ashleigh departed, Latasha flopped on her bed. That lad was looking at her! Her! She suddenly found herself turning pink and flustered.

We were together for a long time. Ashleigh said she hadn't really done everything she'd said she had, he told me to tell her that, cause he thought i knew how he felt and wanted to stop me thinking that.
So one day I was having my nightly phone call with him. When I had another call on the line. it was ashleigh. she had been beaten terribly and neeeded help. I had to go to her, I hung up on Jayson and ran so quickly I couldn't feel myself. but I had to help ashleigh...

I lay in bed that night, not wanting to move, to confused to cry. My mobile kept ringing but i pushed it away. Who should i trust? Ashleigh had always stuck by me, when all those girls picked on me, laughing, spitting on me. I couldn't stab her in the back. But Jason, he was so sweet, so loving. My first boyfriend. He made me feel special...
I dreamed, i dreamed that i was walking through the park, an eerie mist surrounding me, as the mist cleared, I saw something right infront of me, a dog, not your usual tounge lolled out, floppy eared puppy but a big one. It bared its teeth at me, ears *****ed up. Listening. Waiting to attack... I looked to my left and saw Ashleigh, flicking her long brown her. Then looking to the right i saw Jason. Then i realised there was another dog behind me. I had to run, but who to. To Jason, or to Ashleigh... I stood there rooted to the spot. Jason and Ashleigh were both calling to me...
I woke up in a cold sweat... but i was sure of something. I knew which one to trust...
At that moment i heard a bang on my window. Confused i peered over at the clock, 2:30 a.m. Sitting up in bed i heard another bang and then another. It sounded like somebody was chucking pebbles at my window...

I slowly walked over to the window.
"Who the?" I said. I was looking directly at this tall man. "Who are you?" I said.
"You don't know me?" said the tall black figure.
"I... I can't believe you don't know me. Its me! Jason!"
This wasn't Jason.
"YOUR NOT JASON"
"I am Jason!"
"Really?"
"Yes... This old man looked slowly up at me."
"NO. YOUR NOT JASON. YOUR NOT THE JASON I THOUGHT YOU WERE!"
Then I woke up. and realised. I had to trust ashleigh. I'd said the answer in my dreams. he wasn't the Jason i thought he was. I put on my coat and took the park way to school but Ashleigh was there. no-one had helped her. She was lying there ... motionless
She'd been there overnight and it had been cold. No sound came from her and she was only slightly breathing...

i quickly ran to the telephone box and called 999 for someone to rescue her. i remembered what we got taught in health class and used what i remembered to help her.
Then the ambulance came and put her in the van. I went in the back aswell with Ashleigh, we soon got to the hospital i ran with the paramedics and into the ward soon they left after helping her.
I sat with her for 3 hours, and then a beeping sound came on and a load of doctors came rushing in and pushed me out the way and stuck me outside...

I felt someone shaking me. "You nodded off there babe are you okay" It was all a dream, a strange one but a dream... then i opened my eyes. I was still at the hospital. That bit had happend, Ashleigh was still hurt, I was still here, Still in that chair. Jason looked down at me, a sly smile on his face.
"Jason!" i yelped... whats going on?"
"I was going to ask you the same question!"
"Wheres Ashleigh? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?"

He pulled my hand, and tried to take me away with him
"Get off of me," I said, and pulled away from him, and ran.
"Babe! Come back!," he shouted at me, as I ran through the misty cold.
As I am fat, Jason caught up with me easily, and cornered me in an allyway. He pressed me up to the wall.
"What do you want from me!?" I shouted at him, trying to get away from his arms, holding me against the wall.
"Why did you run from me," Jason asked, and tilted his head.
"You kissed Ashleigh, and I saw you hurting her down at the the park!" I shouted
"What? I never!" Jason argued. He wouldn't give in, I loved him, but what he did to Ashleigh I couldn't stand. I waited for me to say something.
"Having a boyfriend is good, but having a best friend is better," I said to him, in a quiet voice.
"I WILL get what I want!" Jason shouted. He hit me, and pushed me to the floor.
"No! Jason! GO AWAY!" I shrieked, as Jason climbed onto me. He was taking off my top, I didnt want this to happen. I still wanted Jason, but by now I figured out he wasnt who I thought he was
"Oh yeah! We're gonna get it on!" Jason said, with an evil voice. I hated this boy, there was nothing I could do, so I shrieked:
"HHHEEEELLLPPP!!!!" Then, I heard a voice from the end of the allyway.
