ok, i have all the downloads right, i have the cute news in a file where i can find it in the FTP program, but it wont up load, this is what i need

personly i use smart ftp from http://smartftp.com its free for non commertal use. you just put in the ftp host, username and password, and then the rest is more aless drag and drop, for ease.

What do you mean when u say wont upload thogh, do the files appear to be uploaded on the ftp manger but dont show up on the site? or does your currant client simply error when uploading?

Be cairful your uploading to the public_html direty thogh as thats the shown content, the home diretory is actaly hidden, so uploading to there is sometimes a problem that happens.

Once uploaded, the read me explaines the rest, its just a matter of chmoding the files realy.
in smart ftp rightclick the file, select permmitions, then tick all the boxs to chmod to 777
