Ive planned all my funeral stuff,
There's going to be a black coffin
with a black and red rose crossing
each other in the center. Ive also planned
the music as I said above, 'Oasis - Stop
crying your heart out' because I belive it
is amazing. I've planned some other stuff out,
I did this alot when I was really depressed last year
I did all sketches, They kinda freek me out now..

Faith Evans ft P.Diddy - I'll be missing you.
Every step I take,
Every move I make..
Every single day, everytime I pray,
I'll be missing you..
Thinking of the day,
When you went away,
Every single day,
Every time I pray,
I'll be missing you..

Probaly Gary Jules- Mad world or Coldplay- fix you as somebody said before but I'm not excatly planning on dying soon :) too bad eh.
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow

Mwuahaa, well mine is going to be a little different.
Number 1; I plan on my funeral being preferably loud.
I wish to go out with a bang ;D
There will be 3 songs I'm definately having mwuaha ;
The Used - Soundeffects and overdramatics
Nirvana - Smells like teen spirit
Kiss - God gave rock and roll to you :']

I want a remix of Justin Timberlake's 'Rock your body'.
Everybody rock my body,
I've passed away, now cry for me,
I said rock my body, cause I've passed away!
I'm joking. -_-
But really I would like Diana Ross 'Ain't no mountain high enough'.

Im not going to die:D Just kidding.
I would DEFINATLY have
Come as you are- Nirvana- Nothing really to do with funerals, but that is my favorite song ever.
Maybe otherwise:
Like a stone- Audioslave
Everlong- Foo Fighters
Black hole sun- Soundgarden
I dont know many "sad" songs or anything apropriate for funerals at least. And whoever said "Ghost of you", no. Lol, you might like the song now, but you wont listen to the song anymore next year, let alone when you die. Usually it should mean something to you your whole life, not just some random song that is popular right now.
uhm... I always wanted to make an acoustic version CD for them to play at my funeral that'd include
Foo Fighter's Everlong
Bush's Glycerine
There were more, I'm just can't remember. But everytime I attempted to say goodbye to my loved ones I'd always put Nirvana's Sappy on the stereo.

AC/DC- Highway to Hell, Led Zeppelin- Stairway to Heaven, or AC/DC- For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)

My brother would so want Glycerine played at his funeral, and at all times leading up to it. I like it to, but he LOVES that song.

If I could watch my own funeral (which I obvioulsy wouldn't be able to), I would have 'If your happy and you know it, clap your hands' to see how many people would be clapping.
OOH
2Pac - Changes
Or
Savage garden - W/e the name is ;-\
OR I will always love u
my auntie had that
<3
Faith Evans ft P.Diddy - I'll be missing you.
My friend who died quite recentely had that at her funeral and Angels by Robbie Williams.

At my uncles funeral 2 months ago, we had..
Shane Macgowan And The Pogues - Lonesome Highway
Tom Waits - Train Song
Rolling Stones - Jumping Jack Flash
He would of been proud xD
My brother would so want Glycerine played at his funeral, and at all times leading up to it. I like it to, but he LOVES that song.
I found that girls like it a lot too. Whenever I'm up on stage they're always requesting me to play it... and because I really liked the moment when Gavin played it alone in the rain I too play it alone in the rain.
some more songs for my funeral CD
Mazzy Star's Fade Into You
Johnny Cash's Nin cover of Hurt
Chris Cornell's Preaching The End of the World
Peter Murphy's Fall With Your Knife
Dave Mathew's Grave Digger
Dave Mathew's Band Where Are You Going?
still cant' remember what the other ones I had on there were. I made the CD this summer and put it in an envelope and gave it to my parents.
I'm pretty sure my mom would go and find the woman who sang "Three Times A Woman" on Garden State cause I told her that if I ever died before she did... I did not want that lady singing that song at my funeral... so my mom would do it... and then I'd laugh while checking out who all came to my funeral.
OOOH
Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt, I loved that.
I'd maybe want that at my funeral, although... I dont really want to depress people even more lmao.
xD

Oh i thought of another song i might have;
Shakespeare Sisters - Stay - Beautiful song ;P
OOOH
Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt, I loved that.
I'd maybe want that at my funeral, although... I dont really want to depress people even more lmao.
xD
well... it's be a better funeral song than Lords of Acid's "Spank My Booty"
but that'd be cool too cause I'd throw a little voice-over in there and tell everyone to stand up and dance along to the song spanking each other's booty. That's right, I want my funeral to be a 24hour long party. Actually, I just want to see my grandparents spanking each other's booty.

I will have slipknot with duality... lmoo that will be mad.
MasterOfPuppets
22-11-2005, 05:51 AM
Judas Priest - Hot Rockin' ...The video accompanying it would be hilarious
but I think Sigur Rós would be the ultimate music to set the mood for a funeral.
Leonard Cohen would definately also suit being played at a funeral.
Opeth - Windowpane.
Panic! At the disco - I write sins not tragedies.
;]] I like the lyrics.

Dude, your coffin will get trampled in the mosh pit!
I MUST have a SOAD song at mine....
Ego Brain or Lost In Hollywood.
But I'm sticking with what I said earlier...
"Ha ha Your Dead! The joke is over!! You were an a*sh*ole! But now your gone!" --> Green Day ^_^
I MUST have The Man Who Sold The World by Nirvana!
