I have just heard of a 12 ( or 11, 1st year in high school ) year old boy the has had two fingers blown off because he was playing with fireworks, just think now he won't be able to enjoy a professional fireworks display!!

I think a new law should be brought in that the public are not aloud to buy fireworks and only professional displays are aloud. This is already used in Australia. Views people.

Just because one dude was messing around and managed to blow his fingers off doesn't mean everyone else shouldn't be allowed to enjoy fireworks. We can't wrap everyone up in bubble wrap otherwise nobody'd be allowed to do anything. People have to take some reponsiblity for their actions.

If you are considered potentially dangerous (past crimes such as assault, etc) you should not be allowed to purchase, but I think responsible adults should be allowed.

I think responisible adults should be able to buy them, aka with no major insodents on their police record
