My view of Habbox at the moment

As some people might have noticed recently a lot of the old "important" staff have left Habbox, together with a lot of newer less important staff, mostly from the HxHD. This might indicate that Habbox is having a lot of problems now, but in fact at this moment Habbox is better organised than it ever was before.
I'm extremely happy with how all the different departments are run since a few weeks now. The new radio will be better run than the old one, already some old DJs want to come back because it's run by us now. The Forum, HxHD and Competitions department have new Managers that we have a lot of trust in, it doesn't matter much if we have to start HxHD with new staff, or if a lot of the old staff will stay. When it was run by DJ-3000 there were always some problems, as we didn't agree about everything. Now it will be much easier, and HxHD will be a full part of Habbox again, instead of just using the name Habbox but not being integrated very well.
But the most important reason it is much easier now for properclone and me to run Habbox is that yonder454 has returned and taken over the Webpage Design Department. As you may know, we haven't had a Manager for ages there, so it pretty much meant besides all our managing jobs we also had to update pages ourself. Which basically meant a lot of pages where updated very late or not at all. Now that yonder454 has taken on this job a lot of pages are being updated, and it also gave us the opportunity to start new things like the Habbox Lottery. The first run was a great success, and I'm convinced it will become even more popular once we've started with different lotteries for normals, hcs and maybe even thrones. A lot of people remember reem's throne "Habbotery" which turned out with a huge scam, and it will be a nice opportunity to show that Habbox can actually organise something like this properly.
All the other departments are doing very well, I'm really quite proud. K@boom is making wonderful games, we have probably the best all round collection of Alterations on our site, and I don't think any site has more competitions than we do, where actually ever winner is paid quickly as it should be. The forum is by far the most popular and most used Habbo forum around, even Habbo staff look at our News and Rumours forum to stay updated with the latest news. Habbo Friends is still running nicely, and we still have new articles / interviews and room reviews regularly added to the site. HabboxTv is also going very well for a few months now run by Eckuii , some shows are very popular, let's hope they can extend with some more high quality shows then I think it can be a very popular part of Habbox. Of course our news and rare values are still probably the best around. It seems these days when you visit Habbo there are less rare trade rooms, maybe the trading of rares has become less popular now that Habbox values have such a huge influence and it's harder for traders to make a profit. But I'm sure as long as we keep the values updates most people will keep using them. The rare values department is in my eyes what made Habbox the most popular fansite in the first place, and it probably is still the most important department within Habbox, together with the forum.

So to sum it all up, I am very happy these days with how everything is going at Habbox and I do hope a lot of you agree with me and enjoy spending their time on Habbox. I know a lot of you think we are very strict on the forum, even stricter than Habbo itself sometimes. But I do find that very important as I want to make sure Habbox is also a safe place for younger children. If you do not like our strict rules, or you want a forum where it is okay to swear sometimes or be a little rude to others, I think it's best if you try to visit other forums like habboforum.com or others where they usually are less strict, also because it's aimed at older teenagers and not so much at younger children. In my point of view it is possible for everybody to express their honest opinion about anything that they feel like, but without avoiding the word filter or being rude to anybody in particular.

To write a gigantic post like that, something must be wrong. Jrh leaving was probably one of the worst things to happen, and then the founder of Habbox getting banned.
Also I think banning Dj-3000 was a big mistake, it makes you look jealous.
What makes Habbox isn't the site, its the staff; and you're starting to lose them.

That is a very clever comment +rep. The rebels go about everything the wrong way though. Dollar I have seen your posts before, and you come across as intelligent, so I dont see why you dont try and get a job as staff and then move up to managment. It can be done so easily.

we have many staff work for habbox about 170 staff .Almost every week have people hired ,fired or resign .I dont know why they very excited when some habbox staff leaving or resign .

Freak it's impossible to normally discus things with Sierk. I tried to but look where it got me to? quitting and seeing how Sierk can be rude and disrespectful towards his staff, I worked so hard for him and habbox yet he did not even care if I quit? He just hired new staff that did excatly what he wanted, I'm just not that kind of person who would follow somebody in everyway and keep saying ''Yes Sierk, yes master'' :rolleyes: I'm a person and I got my own opinion, each time me and Sierk talked and I told him what I think..he got upset at me and we ended up fighting.

My point, for me it was impossible to talk with him, I tried but nope.

The new staff (no offence) can't replace the old ones, old ones will always 0wn :) and Nets I remember Panda and him getting banned :rolleyes:

I don't really know what to think at the moment. One or two years ago we said habbox would close down in a year, it didn't, i tink sierk will always keep it going, even if he does have to erase other people from the equation, you can't change the way a person is. Tbh, i only visit for the forum community.

Actually sierk thanks people for their work and isn't stuck up to his staff like many other site managers. Did you ever ask to talk to sierk? I doubt it and he regularly replies to pms as well.

Yes some great staff have left, miss.alice, anita, dave so on. But theres new people coming through the ranks who are going to fill these peopes shoes. Aquae will keep the competitions in the impecable order it was in before, spectate (who i may mention was a huge part of the Helpdesk when it was at its most populare) will run the helpdesk with a tighter grip on some of the staff, and Seacat's already become a forum adminstrator to take on the huge task of what anita did.

Looking at the staff, there is some great potential among them. A few of the staff that left where a bit outta control :rolleyes: and where giving habbox a bad name.

All in all i think this will be a new era for habbox, it will keep running smoothly and will carry on being the best fansite around :)

Yer Anita was one of the best :) she only left because of she didnt like having to hear friends slagging each other off which nobody does.

Anita did a lot of work when she stopped as manager of forum mods.

And about the bit a lot of staff thinking they were so good, a few of the ones who quit where big culprits for that. I do agree some staff do slate other members when they should be setting an example but that will change :)

Deary me! Now I know why I dont visit this forum very much these days! I see several references to Habbox as a fan site...maybe it is but the question has to be asked why is it no longer official? Why did so many people leave? Why did some of us who use to enjoy being part of the radio decide it was not the best place to be associated with? Now you cant expect people to still work for habbox at the age of 25 or 50 can you so all the people are going to have to quite at one point plus at around the age of 15-16 you start more important exams and habbo cant get in the way. Plus most of the current staff are around that age its only nomal for the to have to leave at the same point.

i dont see how habboxlive is better when it has less listeners than habbox radio had, and it also is mostly down because the owner of the site must of got a rubbish hosting person. hxhd is hardly popular, its usually popular when ex-habbox staff enter the room !! i see ppl also dissing ex-habbox staff when they didnt do anything wrong. if ppl want to quit then just let them quit, dont cry over it !!

booooooooooooooooooooooring, every1 i know now hates habbox. The following are my thouhts,like it or not!

Read all 21 pages..and my view, not like I use the forum much anywayz, so dont care much if I'm banned.

Mizki started habbox and got banned :s There is something wrong there. She STARTED this and whoever banned her has the nerve to touch her.. thats crazy.

DJ-3000 ran an awesome help desk for Habbox. You, sierk, say that it was too detached from Habbox itself, but think of all the popularity that help desk brought habbox. Dave did a really good job with it, and now we have what I call an imitation by Spectate (no offense) that isnt doing half as good as Dave's.

jrh2002 and habboxradio were doing well. They had famous DJs and people actually tuned in. Now I've lost track of things. I've heard about radiohabbo and habboxlive and such and I'm not sure what's going on. But I know that i actually listened in the old days but now I've moved on from the disorganized mess it is at the moment. now jrh is banned..

The bannings are out of control. It seems like if you speak your opinion, prepare for a ban. cassie, mentor, DJ-3000, mizki, we have lost track of them all. Its as if sierk or whoever has their finger on the ban button 24/7.

The staff quitting/fired/leaving is unbelievable as well. It sounds as if sierk is

Apparently Jrh, Mizki, DJ and others have been banned. This saddens me.
Most of you probably have no idea who I am, but I was one of the first mods here. I remember working with Sierk, Mizki, Jrh and Anita. Back then when habbox just started to crawl, I remember how much fun I had working here. It seems to me that all these loses haven't really been for the best, but who knows right. Habbox might get back to its old roots and some old mods might come back.

Also remember everyone, habbo(x) is ony a game/forum. The world doesn't revolve around it. ;)
