Listen, TealArms.. I may sound horrible, I may sound evil but this is the truth and I don't care about rep I will say.

Killing yourself is selfish. Know why? Because all your friends won't like it, will they? All your family won't like it. They'll be very sad, and even if you get the impression they don't like you, you are their son/family member, and they will not like to see you go. They'll mourn and mourn and so will your friends, and everyone who knows you. Taking your life away may seem like your solving things, but your making it 10 times worse, even if your not their to see it.

Put it this way, you would feel horrible if your child killed him/herself, how guilty would you feel?

Back to the whole subject about whether your going to kill yourself or not ay'? :rolleyes: I've seen this Many 'a' times.

Killing yourself can be a selfish thing to do, if your religous you will know that its a sin, however, I'm not religous so thats that out the window ;)

Compare yourself to all those starving, dying slowly, sadly and painfully for a reason that mankind made a mistake! Although this seems pretty offtopic, count yourself lucky for having a life I beleive many people would want a good life for example, going out with mates, going out for leisure, watching T.V, having a home, having a bed and having alot more stuff.

I find that you have to pass lifes troubles, many people around the world do it, I'm sure you can :s

Think of all the good Things in lifes, How would your parents feel, Phone a childline, If your that upset, Think of happy times, go to an afterschool club, meet some new friends, gain a new hobbie, and dont kill yourself, It's not the awnser, I mean look at all those poor africans (the ones in the third world), they have barley nothing, but they dont sit around, they get up, they work hard for the little luxeries, like having a bed, a bed o.o sounds silly but yea, some people take their life for granted, and sit around feeling sorry for themselves, sure we all have these moments, but you get over them, and you should start fresh, make new friends, I dont know you, or how old you are or anything, but dont kill yourself, Just be Paitent, and good things will come your way, but in the meen time, get up and have a laugh, play down your local park, go shopping with your mates, and eventually, you'll forget everything bad. Guys why be harsh! Depression is a serious thing, we dont no what his life is like. Iv been suicidal for a long time and its not about attention. I have severe depression, i have realised now how much it would hurt my Uncle, Auntie, Nan and rest of my friends and family but that still doesn't stop me thinking about it. I attempted suicide 2 months ago now, i was in hospital for a week on a drip. I have been depressed for about 2 years and alot of **** has happend to me so ye i guess i no how this guys feeling and you no what the worse thing to say to someone suicidal? "You wouldn't have the guts" Because your practically daring them. I dunoo this guy well so i duno why he is saying it. I no for a fact that when i have been suicidal the last thing on my mind would be telling the whole forum but maybe he is looking for help anyway, teal i want you to read this.

You know a guaranteed way? Ask the 25yr old who tried to electrocute himself. He lived. But, both of his arms are gone.
What about jumping? Ask John. He used to be intelligent, with an engaging sense of humour. That was before he leapt from a building. Now, he's brain damaged and will always need care. He staggers and has seizures. He lives in a fog. But, worst of all, he knows he used to be normal.
What about pills? Ask the 12yr old with extensive liver damage from an overdose. Have you ever seen anyone die of liver damage? You turn yellow. It's a hard way to go.
What about a gun? Ask the 24yd old who shot himself in the head. Now he drags one leg, has a useless arm and has no vision or hearing on one side. He lived through his "foolproof" suicide.

You might too. But .. who will clean your blood off the carpet or scrape your brains from the ceiling? Commercial cleaning companies may refuse the job -- but someone has to do it. Hello, I am Liams friend and i am in his class. When i came in today i sat at my desk like normal and did my tutor work. It got to 9:15 and i wonderd where Liam was. The Miss came in and said that liam had tried to kill himself, and he is ok. We now have found out thathe is upstairs in hostel and will be for the next 2 days. We dont know how he tried to die. I saw him in the lunch line and he asked me to give this msg for you lot. I have seen that alot of you have said why would he post it here, well your his only friends as he does not have any one apart from the few people in our class and now i think this just shows who stands up for him. Cortez somthing did and is his friend, but no one else did they just said he was selfish, which he wasn't. if any of you knew his you would know that he did alot of chairty work, in fact he is doing another of his big CIN events now. he did not do it for attention he did it as you his only friends and he wanted you to know, as friends do that, like i said before we do not know why he killed himself, but i need to ask you a thing to do. If you are his friend i would like you to try and forget about this and pretend nothing happend as he cant take it at the moement.

Cortez somthing did and is his friend, but no one else did they just said he was selfish, which he wasn't. if any of you knew his you would know that he did alot of chairty work, in fact he is doing another of his big CIN events now. he did not do it for attention he did it as you his only friends and he wanted you to know, as friends do that, like i said before we do not know why he killed himself, but i need to ask you a thing to do. If you are his friend i would like you to try and forget about this and pretend nothing happend as he cant take it at the moement.

Yep, it is, i bet your all going Duuuh, but just read this piece. Its on alot of internet sites. Ive got bad depression and when im feeling really really low it helps me... its something everyone should read and remember. Suicide is a serious matter, it isn't attention seeking.

Suicide is not usually successful.

You know a guaranteed way? Ask the 25yr old who tried to electrocute himself. He lived. But, both of his arms are gone.
What about jumping? Ask John. He used to be intelligent, with an engaging sense of humour. That was before he leapt from a building. Now, he's brain damaged and will always need care. He staggers and has seizures. He lives in a fog. But, worst of all, he knows he used to be normal.
What about pills? Ask the 12yr old with extensive liver damage from an overdose. Have you ever seen anyone die of liver damage? You turn yellow. It's a hard way to go.
What about a gun? Ask the 24yd old who shot himself in the head. Now he drags one leg, has a useless arm and has no vision or hearing on one side. He lived through his "foolproof" suicide.

You might too. But .. who will clean your blood off the carpet or scrape your brains from the ceiling? Commercial cleaning companies may refuse the job -- but someone has to do it. Who will cut you down from where you hung yourself, or identify your bloated body after you've drowned? Your father? Your mother? Your sister or brother? The carefully worded "loving" suicide note is of no help. Those who loved you will never completely recover. They'll feel regret and an unending pain.

Suicide is contagious. Look around your family. You do have other choices. There are people you can help you through this crisis. Call a hotline. Call a friend. Call a doctor or hospital. But think of what you are giving up. you're leaving your family, friends, and all the people who care about you and love you. And maybe you're not even that old yet, you have to experience life, find true love, that kind of stuff. Killing yourself isn't going to help. That's just running away from your problems, it's not solving anything, it's not making it better.

I know i can't convince you to not commit suicide, but just please think about everything a little before you do anything.

There's always someone who will be there for you to talk things through even if it seems like no one is there for you. Everything will get better, and it will be okay.

So whenever you are going to pick up that knife, or razor, just think about all the people you are leaving behind, all the memories, and all the good times.

I guess sometimes everybody feels like they want to die at lease once in their life. And you think there is no other way, just read this over.
