I prefer cantonese than chinese, its a much better language to learn and i know alot more cantonese people than chinese. If you dont know cantonese people are mainly from hong kong. And other places.
In my user title it says merry christmas and a happy new year!

Lmao, I'm from Singapore, and there are like, millions of different chinese languages, they're mostly dialects. Hokkien, Cantonese, Mandarin. That's all I know, but I know there's more ;D

Look all you people who argue over which numbers to use are stupid there are different languages within china Like Cantonese and Mandarin + many more
I am English Born And Bred And Have been learning Mandarin for 3 years now and have to say it is one of the hardest languages to learn and wouldnt recomend it to any person unless you are really good at languages!! i.e if you always get A's in language exams, see my freind who is in my mandarin class gets A's in french all the time and is getting C's in Mandarin because it is so dificult (I get E's but that doesnt matter)
