In case you hadn't noticed, Microsoft are in on "the gaming market". They have 20% of the market share.

Oh and new stock is supposed to be arriving in the US and UK by January at the latest. Microsoft have probably understocked on purpose; it generates lots of hype and people always want something they can't get.

all technology companies set expensive prices to begin with as that is when it is in high demand and the richer market segement buys the new technologies for this high price, after a while when they have maximised these sales they lower the price so that the middle class market segement can afford them adn by this time each one sold is just more and more profit as they will have already covered the costs of producing them and researching it.

i have been told that *argos* has just about a full stock like the last place u would expect to have 360's.

Hence the wait for there price to be lowered :) Not dramatically, only where theres more deals and bargains.

I was totally shocked by how poor the 360 was, i tested it out with 4 different xbox 360 games, and they didn't look like the NEXT GEN. I know the 360 has just came out but to be honest, save your money and buy a console twice as powerful and get the PS3.




Here is a little fact for ya, the PS3 can run 90 GIG worth of data of a disk, using blue ray, however with the 360 they can only hold 9 gig of data.

The power and the graphics you'll get out of the PS3 will be the real 'NEXT GEN' if game companys decide to use the full features.
