U know instead of just choosing a colour for a website back ground.. u can have something that says FF80FF.. i have no idea what they will come out like. can anyone find me a page where it tells u what they are? +Rep for help ;] as manytimes as possible.. for a week ;]

when addding a background you use for example:

<body bgcolor="red">
but that isnt very exact as you cant tamper with how dark etc it is. This is were hex codes come in. They are just a six digit code which represent a color but the difference is you can have varied colour ranges. so in hex it would be:

<body bgcolor="#FF9900">

Most people use the numbers, the Hexademical codes.
