I was looking through some (really) old PS2 magazines the other day, and saw an advert for Habbo whilst it was being endorsed by Sunny D.

I find it silly for schools to advertise this, as people will go on it and possibly meet up with "Claire, a 14 year old girl" who is actually Dave, a 42 year old bloke. Plus it will endorse them to spend money on it, and they'll then want more, then they will spend up loads of money and try and steal money off their parents/friends phone to buy credits. :s

Advertising doesn't mean the company is cheap, this is a marketing strategy used by most companies world wide.
Secondly, to what someone else said, habbo doesn't encourage people to meet up, or spend money. It's simply a safe chat enviroment, however alot of habbos abuse this - Habbo does it's best to stop email swapping etc, however everyone avoids the filter and does it anyway! Therefor habbo is in no way responsible, as it clearly states against doing such! Thus making is the persons responsibility. It also happens on things like msn etc.. so tbh no matter what you do it can't be stopped.

My city used to have loads.
Alot of people in my school play it.
MAJOR noobs. :)
More then half use the call for help to ask questions, the hobbas wont answer, so they keep doing it, they get banned, then the whole class is like " OH MY GOD WHY DO I KEEP GETTING BANNED! "
