Generally i don't like total darkness. When i'm sleeping i love total darkness but not any other time.

Not really. I can sleep with the light on or off. I doesn't really bother me. Like, if I'm in bed watching the TV, and I'm sleepy, I could just go to sleep without the light off, but I usually switch it off.
