Repair carpets? [Archive]

Heya

Erm I kinda did a stupid thing last night....I like was scoring foam board with a scapel (i'm trained in using them with Graphics don't worry!) and i went to the carpet......several times....right in the middle of hte floor -.-' so there's like lil slashes like a cat does..doesn't anyone know how to fix this ? My parents have killed me but they're calming down. I just wanna be able to fix the problem.

we tried to like make the carpet like fold in on itself by brushing the scores over. but that hasn't worked. We only noticed it today when my dad vacuumed the floor. That must have made it worse...and it has.

I work in the carpet business, and as far as I know there is nothing you can do about that.

Get sample of the same colour get a puncture repair kit and try and get underneath the carpet and stick the puncture repair strip half and half onto the pieces of carpets.
