And yeah I have to agree with Jordan; Son of dork are more pop than rock, and they're rubbish pop at that.

Nickelback is really bad. I didnt used to think so, but there was a guy who litterally proved their songs are the same. If you put "How I remind Me" and "Someday" together, they are basicly the same song.

By the way, Old Green Day is good, really good. I agree new is bad, but listen to their album Dookie, its very very good.
