I havent seen a thread regarding being a vegetarian/vegan..

Anyway, If any of you have questions about anything to do with this dont hesitate to ask..

personally i dont like what vegatarians do. i like vegans but not how they eat. god put them on earth for food. if you think about it most animals we eat eat other animals too.!

I am vegetarian. I already posted a thread about this, I was debating with a few people who were thinking that vegetarians are weaker... I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's not true.

well kinda sorta

i throw up when i eat like squishy meat.

so the only meat i eat is peperoni crispy bacon and some jercky

but no burgers or that bad stuff. also it is healthy to be vegitarian if you get enough protein through other ways like beans rice and cheese which i eat a lot

I really wanted to start being a vegetarian but i couldn't even last a day. I think some people who really want to be vegetarian can really not eat meat.

Bl1nkey, yeah aslong as veggies stock up on protiens and alot of nutricious food then you can be just as healthy as a meat eater.

SEXYDEATH, Being the only veggie in my house i can proudly say the meat eaters in the family are a LOT gassier than i ever have been. :P

eamonns, I personally find it quite rude and unneccessary to call me dumb, You can't class someone as "dumb" without even knowing them.. Its my opinion to be a vegetarian and people like you, need to realise that times have changed and we dont have to eat meat because our ancestors did, now i sure as hell think they wouldn't mind if i don't eat meat.. also our ancestors ate plants aswell not just meat ;]
We are the most intelligent beings on the planet and we have the option to eat meat or not, Im not calling you dumb or anything of the sort because of your opinion on meat eating.. became vegetarian when i was 4/5 cause i decided killing was wrong

Im vegetarian, i really dont see it as a big deal. I have been since i was 8 and im 17 now. I guess its because im so used to it. The only bad thing with being veggie is the amount of people you get saying "why are you veggie?" it can get irritating after the first 100 times. I really dont miss eating meat either, i just eat normal food like pizza (veggie toppings of course), pasta, rice, chips etc etc. I think some people think that all you eat is green beans, lentils and soya. I dont eat all vegetables either, theres a lot i dont like, such as mushrooms, sprouts, green beans, celery, cabbage, etc i have a pretty long list so i'l stop there. Hahaha i sound like a fussy eater but im not that bad.

I just can't eat meat either,Its something i find takes alot of courage for people to quit eating meat when they are older. People are too quick to judge too Joey, just like eamonns here :]

Well im sure many scientists have undertaken research into the pain of plants and if infact it exists, noone knows for definate so i can't debate your point, therefore you may have a point..

Im not a Vegie, but I dont realy mind them, its their choice and they will live how they want. What I dont like is when they start trying to force their opinion onto you. Like the website you posted a while back. I dont like the people that say "Killing animals is cruel etc...." I will always eat meet, and I will never think killing animals (within reason) is wrong.

Bruno the website i posted wasnt there to try and turn you against eating meat, i posted it for a proof thing..
I have no problem with people eating meat, and i'd like to think people feel the same way about me not eating it..

Awww, My friends try to get me to eat meat in secret like "OOO TRY THIS QUORN LASAGNE" Im not stupid though i can tell what is meat and what isnt xD

I'm on the diet for the animal factor, I think that cows bred for dairy etc shouldn't be treated as badly as they do and it's ridiculous that you can't buy free range milk.

I've been a vegan for a year now and I've only slipped up once. I was in our shopping centre and there was a chocolate fountain, I could'nt resist! It was okay though because all there produce was from the local farm and I knew that their animals were treated really well.

Your a vegan poor you , vegans are a tad silly in my opinion the cows dont get killed when thet get milked so i dont see why not drink milk and its surposidly pleasurable when they get milked for the cows
