Ok, i want to know who you are backinbg to win the world cup in germany, i have picked 3 teams i think will win

1) Brazil Beacause of there attacking players, all world class players like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Kaka and of course "THE NEXT PELE" Robinho. Those players alone could probably win the world cup.

2) Italy because of the oposite of Brazil the defence in that team is just amazing. with Nesta controlling it every striker will have nightmares playing against Italy, to go with there amazing defence. The special Italian league tactics will just confuse all players on there oponents!

3) england, I come from england so you shoukd expect this. Its a fact that every time the world cup is in eirope a european team wins it except once! So therefore with the ammount of skill in englands players such as Beckham, Gerrard, Owen, Lampard, Ashley Cole and many more. probably the best all round team in europe right now, They proved it against another great team Argentina in Switzerland beating them 3-2 with amazing goals probably the 2 best strikers in europe Rooney and Owen.

England - have the potential , I am english and would love to see them win but i think that we have si many good players and there all unique style of play are clashing also our problem is at the with goalkeeping

I doubt England will win, still have to go with the trend of everyone thinking 'this is the year' just like every other year. :rolleyes: I'm pretty certain Italy wont win it and I doubt Spain will. Brazil in my opinion will probably win it.

All have awesome squads easily capable of winning it, but always seem to underacheive.

I think we'll go close this year, lose out in the final to Brazil on penalties no doubt.

I think Holland will win. Its about time they won it. If not I hope England will win. But I think it will be Holland vs Germany again like the first FIFA world cup final. Oh and Brazil have great players so they might win as well.

The favourites are Brazil and you can see why, attacking flare all over the team. Only weakness is their ageing defence. Anything but winning is a failure.

England have the potential, a strong defence at their peak is the best in the world. If everbody plays at their peak then we are better than Brazil. Semi final would be an achievement

Spain, not many spectaculare players but they do seem to grind out results. Last 8 would be good for them.

Italy, unpredictable. Many well known players but i sometimes wonder if they are good enough. Last 8 would be good...

France, if Henry plays at his best with the rest of the french team then France should definatly get to last 8 but im not sure if their defence is good enough.

Portugal are in their transition stage. Ronaldo can show his talent in this world cup and last 8 would be good for them.

Holland, last 4. If van nisteroy is on form then they should see an abundance of goals...

Czech republic, have not got enough quality for the final but last 8 would be quite good.

Argentina have the potential to get last 4 but hey they are unpredictable.

Surprises: Mexico, are a very good team and will go far. Maybe last 8 at their best. Japan, don't underestimate these guys, always do surprrisingly well, but may not be suited to european conditions...


It being in europe is good for england, south american teams find it difficult to play in europe so england stand a good chance.

Well apparantly England will Avoid: France , Germany , Italy , Brazil , Spain in the Group stages So that will be ok and a good Advantage for us.

Im supporting the USA. England has the potential, but then again they did last world cup and threw it away.
