You can get fined for $200-300 USD for swearing in High school, thought this hasn't affected my school it has for others.

Yes it is USA.
LLOYD: Whether you call it cussing, cursing, or swearing, you'd better not do it in front of teachers in Connecticut! That's where school officials in certain areas are clamping down on those who don't watch their mouths, by imposing a fine that would take you 20 hours to work off at federal minimum wage! Chris Velarde of affiliate WTNH tells us what students have to say - in clean terms, of course - about this punitive measure.
Its also affecting Calfornia.

Britian has been running amok since the 1300's
Its a form of punishment to teeach the young adults that they are entering the real world after they graduate, I think its a civil thing.

It happened in a few schools because the swearing was out of control and they noticed it lead to physical fighting. Now instead of students calling someone else's mom a *#&$ #*$@#& which can lead to fighting, they have to call her a 'Stupid Head', which just gets the kid laughed at. Itll cut back on kids swearing for no reason like they keep doing now. I swear, Ill admit, but I dont swear just for no reason or just to sound cool like some other people do.
