Hey guys.

Yes it's nice to have award ceromonies - but a forum?! pathetic.

It's just a big popularity contest. The people who are not voted or not thought about will feel out of place.

I'm not complaining that I haven't been voted at all (that would be stubborn and damn right dumb) but I just feel like expressing myself today.

Maybe some people don't want to be voted. Maybe some people don't make an effort to get to know anyone, maybe people have annoyed people.

I don't think it's stupid.

As this forum is ranged to support a load of youngsters, some feel they need to idolise someone in order to get by on the Forum.
Posting something emotive towards someone can be a nice thing to do, thats all thats happening.

Sure you can see two sides to an award ceremony but its just plain old fun. I'm not totally popular but hey, idc. I'm here to help people and have some fun :)

I don't care tbh, i'm not well known on the forum and i couldn't care less if i'm not liked.. it's not why am here. Winning or loosing a contest, doesn't improve nor make your life any different. It's only a forum

Obviously. Award's are just big popularity contests. In the Oscars, they don't make awards just so that the people who don't win the main awards, win something.

I wanted to do this before the PC Brigade come and eat me.

I think it is mainly a popularity contest, which is why I haven't/wont get many votes. I think it's a bit of fun though, I voted my friends and some people who I'm not really friends with. Mine was based on the opinion I have on those people. I wish there were more options because I adore a few people I didn't vote. ;[

So.. I don't think it's pathetic but I agree that it is partly down to popularity.

thanks for your support No Life Within.

the people who will win will most probs be the ones who've had over 1000 posts and have tried to 'get in there' with the rest of the forum.
