Chapter 1:
'She's a daredevil I tell you...' I said to my friend, Nicole. I was talking about my best mate Roxy, she'd do anything, she'd jump off a cliff if she really wanted to. But here I am, telling you this story - When something bad could be happening to her, something horrible, something that will make her change forever... and i'm not there to save her...
I'm sorry though, I forgot to introduce myself!
I'm Taylor, I'm 14 years old, and so is Roxy. - I know what your thinking, shes a bit young isn't she? That's what I thought.
I'll get straight to the point, i'm going to tell you about a night i'll never forget, one that I want to forget, but I can't, it's just... stuck there, it's stuck there in my mind. And there's no chance that it will leave.
'Brinnnngggg.' YES! It was finally home-time at school.
Roxy walked up to me, 'Taylor! You've got to go here with me...' She said to me, as she handed me a leaflet. It was about a haunted house, that apparently lived to a young girl who got murdered by her father there years ago. 'They say she still lurks around, and she has the knife still stuck into her heart.' Roxy said to me. A chill went down my spine, why the hell would she think i'd want to go to a haunted house. I looked at the times to look around... 'Midnight...' I said slowly. 'Well, yeah. That's when she's mean't to start haunting the house. I gotta go now, see you later yeah?' She exclaimed to me, as she ran off down the road.
I couldn't let my friend stay alone at a haunted house, with a ghost that has a knife with her. Anything could happen... but I really didn't want to go.
'What am I going to do...' I thought to myself, sighing.
