Buy stuff cheap, sell it high, that is all it is...

a good item to merchant is nature runes.

buy them at 300 - 320 each and resell for 350 each.

feathers you can buy from "noobs" for like 2 gp or 5gp sometimes
and re-sell them at 10 - 20 gp each

:o I'm gonna try that! I buy 1k coal for 30k and I sell it for 25k. Yay! I'm merchanting! But something makes me say I'm doing something wrong.

Merchanting is pretty easy, just buy at the lowest price possible and sell it as high possible, make sure you buy things people actually want so you can sell them easily. You also need patience. ;)
