Most games cost 30-40 pound, and they dont get updates.

Expensive? Not at all.
A normal game costs about 10 monts of membership (depends what kind of games you buy lol), runescape gets 'expensions' every week, games get an expension once in a while and that'll cost you another 10 monts of membership.

I think it is worth it, it is much easier to train and it's just good fun. :)
