You need to change it for security reasons.

Yea it was 1 of the differences between 3.0.0 and 3.5.0 in the usergroups you can set how many days you can have a pass for untl it has to be changed and how many days until you can use the same password again.

As far as I know all Forum members have been prompted to change their password since the Forum went back up. It's nothing unusual and for your own safety. :)

I think that should only be asked to staff members, not to vips or normal members, I will check.

Some VIP groups were set to have their pass expire every 3 days, sorry about that. It should be changed back to once a year now.
