If you can do me a favour i would like you to post this in the tech support forum in runescape forums (im not member :'()

My friend Frank459 is having troubles logging in.
He gets to the login screen and then when he logs in it crashes at the "Loading - Please Wait". Message.
He has a Windows ME.
And uses Mozilla FireFox.
But it still wont work.
Can anyone help him?

Dude your using the new java when i try to use the new java instead of deafault it freezes for me

I think you have the same pc as me lol i have hewlett packard with windows me and i have trouble with rune all time how old is your pc?

I didnt lol i just get lucky and it lets me on sometimes and sometimes it doesnt

Lol, I get basically the same problem as you but I can only go on using firefox :s clients don't work for some reason

Na like the RuneScape client, it could work, just coz IE don't it don't mean the client don't, considering my clients don't work but browsers do...

Updated java? Try uninstalling then reinstalling it?

Default, just wait for a reply from JaGex not much people can really help you with unless they are experienced with the problem

windows ME isnt really as good as they say it is...i dont even think it tops windows xp...

just tell the guy to reboot the computer do a disk defragment and disk clean-up and it should be almost as fast as it used to be...

Registry problems often cause crashes.

Research CCleaner (freeware registry cleaner) and if you feel its safe enough then download and use it. Personally my first scan found 437 problems in the registry which helped my computer ALOT :)

I've not heard of it. aslong as it is off download.com or something it should be safe.
