Whats next? Well mabye more people and new features!
Why does everybody think them adveretizing is bad? More people = more moeny for habbo. Habbo can afford a less laggy and bigger servers, plus more features that would make habbo better. It is a buisseness of course they are going to advertize it in the some of the popular places. Its like sombody telling you not to advertize your furni shop.

Who cares what's next? It's advertising, something that most companies do! In order to achieve business. And it makes more sense to advertise on commonly used sites? So get over it.. :\ it's only an advertisement!

Yup. The only thing which bugs me is that they advertise on things such as MSN Messenger, which will attract an audience of people, but it gets a little vexing when they then go and add articles in the newsie saying to use the console and not "external messengers". I would understand using console instead of giving your email address out, but if they are telling people not to use "external messengers", then there is a ***** loose. You can't get people from instant messengers to join the hotel, and then tell them to stop using instant messengers. Grrr... Heh, smile? :)

Yea, one thing that bugs me is they advertise on websites which are bobba filtered - its like habbo is a hipocrite, because they bobba msn yet they advertise on their website. personally, i think habbo makes way too much money from children who don't even know the whole concept on saving your money and spending it on real things, and not pixelated objects. And like Barmi said - advertising on yahoo, msn and other messenger sites attracts people who use messengers, and are therefore going to give out their msn email on habbo, which habbo is always trying to stop - who cares to be honest? If dumb little school kids want to have their account hacked then so be it!! Most of my mates on habbo are on my msn.

Hmm. I think Habbo know that most teens use Instant Messenger software, but the only problem is that they are trying to stop them using IMs. They should be stopping them giving their email address out, because no teen is going to stop using IMs just because a company says so, when all their friends on the internet and real life use them. It just needs a little extra thought before all these wild "safety articles" are made. Most of them I agree with, most are common sense and simple, and you know them anyway... but I think the ones that tell you not to use IMs are st00pid. Telling how to be safe when using IMs, and preventing you from giving out your email address whilst on the hotel I understand, but telling people not to use IMs is a nono. Grr...
Perhaps next will be space and try and get our alien friends to come play? :d

Most sensible people use a totally different email for habbo compared to their messenger anway, so it really makes no difference.
