Is School to stressful?

i think it is to stressfull, i mean, staying up late finishing this doing that, homework causes so much stress, i had 2 essays in 2day, i did them but only remembered to hand one in, my memory ****s and i think school is to blame, i get hit left right and center with all this stuff you have to do and it sends stress levels right up, what do you think?

i do classwork but dont really pay loadz of attention then wen its a test i will :D

What school do you go?! Cos i wanna go there. School gets worse as you get older. I hate school. School is poo. And stressfull, sleepless nights, i cry sometimes because too much is happening. I have no time for my own life!

Yes it's very very stressfull, so many children get drepessed because of it. Bullying..grades..parents wanting them to have perfect grades etc. and depression sometimes leads to killing themself. I mean it's logical that you need to go to school and learn things dur but the stress they put on us is just too much. Half of my free time [more then half] goes for school..my main problems, things I worry about, are my grades. I'm always nervous and stuff because of it ''/

School is stressful for everybody but you have to think of it as it helping you in the future, look to the future don't think of how much more stressful it'll get, it's something that will determine the rest of your life.

Until i went into year 10 + 11 i thought that school was super easy. Everything was just easy and i wasn't stressed one little bit and we were lucky if we got one peice of homework. Then i went into year 10 and i didn't know what hit me i was just bundled with courseowork and homework. Then year 11 was even harded as i'm trying to study aswell as do coursework, my show which is coming up, learn loads of songs and dances and then revise. It's totally stressful but once Wednesday is finished i will be ok.

totally, i have six periods a day, and wake up at 6:40, get home at 4:30 :(

Blimey, my last school years were very stressful. Year 10 + 11 mess you up only if you don't keep up with your coursework deadlines, other than that, I think your fine.

Well, yes. Maybe not so much cruise but drift along without touching your books, along those lines. So yes, either way would work.

Your school life is meant to be the best times of life you will ever have, I've finished school for about 6 months now and there are times where I feel I would like to go back :)

Its definatelly stressful for me. Just this term i've had to sort out 2 of my mates, one was smoking the other took what she thought was extasy.

=S For me its not so much the work. But the bullying and the friend issues.

Also that isnt helped by haveing rubbishy teachers =/

Its not school itself that stresses me. I hate it when kids think that teachers and parents just want us to go to school to annoy us.:rolleyes: No, there is a reason, not just something to do:p

Homework is what gets me mad, there has been more and more over the years. A lot of adults are right too, even little kids are getting too much homework. Carrying tons of books home from school cant be good for us.

But what I really hate is when adults say when we complain about school is "Well work is much worse, you cant complain". I always say, "It might be worse, but you get paid, you cant complain.":D

I'm happy on the weekends, but when it's Sunday night or a School day Im really depressed. After 6 hours of school I come home and do more homework, then go to sleep. 5 Days a week. It does my head in. And I really hate it. Can't wait to leave school, and I know you'll say 'But if you stay you'll get a better education' Im doing well at school which is good, but I don't mind what job I get, as long as I like it and it's enough wages to live with.

I actually think work is a much better way of life than school, sure you have days where you don't want to work but getting paid is what its about.

I agree, school gets harder as you get older, im in yr 9 at the moment and get a fair bit of homework and i do it all and dont find it "easy" but it isnt t difficult, i want a gd job when i get older so i do want to work hard at school

But yes, school is VERY stressfull
