Anyone know how to save Ringtones etc. to your sim card? If it helps the model of the phone is a 'Motorolla V220'.

All help and/or sites will be accounted for, and rep will be given.

Thanks,

RuthLess X

Do you mean when people send it to you or when you download it or when you plug your phone into the Pc via a Datacable?

I mean when you store something on your phone, you can usually eigher save it to 'Phone' or to 'Sim'. I want to save all my stuff to sim, but have only managed to do it with my address book. I am trying to find out how to store my ringtones to sim.

if they are saved to your phone you should have an option to 'Copy all to sim'

Cos I wanna try and do it aswell. The only way I've thought about doing it is by:

Save download to phone
Send to pc or a mate
Get new phone - If you wanna transfer ringtones
Send from the pc/mate
When downloaded,

But thats only to save to a different phone

You can't store files to your SIM. Only contacts.

It wouldn't be anything to do with the network.

On my phone and I'm sure all new Nokias, whilst looking at say an image, you have an options button, pressing that will allow you to do different things, for example: Rename an image. You can also save it to where you would like it to be stored, sim card or phone memory. Also, when your in your media file/gallery, theres usually a two file thing, one which contains files saved on your phones memory and the other which has files saved onto the sim memory.

I'm not sure if this is the same on the Motorola but I'm 100% sure you can transfer files to your memory card.

roughly 2.50 i think it depends on if its non-orange user or not that is the one as non-orange user

If the phone doesn't have a memory card then you can't put one in. You can only save files to your phone memory which I think is around 84Mb?

Find some specs of it and you should find out or just take off the back cover and look to see if there is one.
