View Full Version : Do you go by the habbox value when some seasonals come in the catalouge?

Some people are still going through the habbox seasonals value when items go in the catalouge.
For example; I went to a trade room and I asked if someone could trade me a holly for my 2 panda posters, then the person says
"no offer more its worth 25 on habbox"
Shouldnt the seasonal values be changed on habbox when furniture goes in the catalouge? A holly garland is only 3 credits in the catalouge when you buy it and people still want like 30 credits for it. That's a total waste of furniture. All I am saying is that Habbox should change the values when seasonal furniture/rare furniture comes back in the catalouge.
Its now really hard to get christmas furniture without giving like 20 credit profit on christmas trees & holy garlands.
?WhyNot?

When seasonnals come in the catalogue, Habbox should lower them.

Habbox doesnt set the values, we just look at what people are trading them for and report it :)
As its near christmas, more people want hollys and are willing to pay more.

I feel that whenever Rares or Seasonal Rares come into the Catalogue, Habbox should make the prices at their Catalogue price instead of making it higher so that people buy them for 25 creds but sell them for 2 HCs

yeh but you don't pay 25 credits worth when you can buy them for 3

i honestly dont use habbox rare values meaning they are not completely correct most of the time and usually go by what a few people have to say in my opinion.
and you are right, they need to update the site because newbies are thinking they can get 25 creds for their hollie.

If Habbox made Thrones worth 40 Hcs people would go by it.

Not intentionally, but without the values being temporarily removed, many younger traders think that 25 RD is still a correect value, which clearly it isn't.
Obviously, that value is outdated, as it was last updated in November, before they were released.

habbox do there rares perfectly, u might say like the green drag should be 0.5 because its in the cat but why would u buy it and sell it for 0.5 when u can wait and sell when its not in the cat anymore for more furni.
its a common mistake that habbox just write wat they want and people go by it, its u that sets the values all habbox does is write what ur trading for it not what ur buying it for, :d personaly i think habbox is good at rare values.

Nah, habbox values aren't too good recently, well thats my point of view anyway. What I see traded is normally quite different from habbox values.

I still use the regular values of the rares..... like how the x-mas trees 2 & 3 were 17 before they came out & how the hollies were 25 before they came out. Plus people go around asking for hollies for 3 creds when they know that there going to have a hard time finding them @ 3 a piece
