To be honest, I don't see the big deal if someone is gay/lesbian/bi/bi-curious/ or tranny. Yes, I know, its quite inevitable for the homophobia to stop, but what is your opinion on it all? Do you think its fair that people are beaten, emotionally beaten, or even in some (few) cases killed? Do you think that these people should be treated this way? Do they deserve it? In my opinion, what is it all to them? For example, if you knew you were gay/bi/lesbian, etc., and your friends were like awesome to you, and then you came out after you've known them a while. Why would it be such a change in a friendship? Maybe, its the feeling that your own reputation would go down for hanging out with someone like that. Since I'm bi myself, I've experienced it myself, and well I really don't see the point in being cruel towards gays/bis/etc. Please comment on this thread, with your opinions and vote on the poll.

Ummm, well... its wrong to discriminate against anyone. However homophobia can sometimes not be helped, its like arachnophobia ect.. you cant really prevent it, so I guess its ok, well you know what I mean, as long as no actions are taken to offend anyone, and its not really anyone’s fault.

Hmm, nope, I'm saying its very unlikely that it will.
No , its not fair if they want to be gay / lessbian its there choice
So you're saying its all going to stop? :s
I noticed that, inevitable means it will without a doubt. So homophobia will end without a doubt. Which is not the case.
There are always going to be people in this word who feel uncomfortable with anything that isn't the same as them. Be it sexuality, race, gender or anything. These types of people are most probably scared of change and feel intimidated by differences.
Remember, they're the ones with the problem, not you!

Oops, yeah I meant to say that it won't stop. I got the words confused sorry.
I have nothing against gays but i must admit i dont think man on man or woman on woman is right.
However they are people to and dont deserve discrimiation.

this treads quite rude 'trannys', transexuals are what there called
and its unfair that they are picked on becuase they could see heterosexualism(if thats a word) as wrong people but they dont discriminate others do towards them they make a discision to love whichever gender they prefer i dont see why people dont just get on with there lives its pathetic.
a man and woman kissing in the steet is fine
but same *** relationships are frowned upon people need to be more open minded.

It's unfair - but everyone has their likes, and dislikes and no one can ever change that. There's always going to be people that want to bring others down, in any way, for any reason.
From my POV, I just think what other people do with their girlfriends/boyfriends, isn't any of my business, nor is it a big issue.
If I saw two men kissing, or showing affection in public or infront of me why should I let that get in the way of my plans? It's nothing major.
