I wouldn't like to join the army. Not only am I not interested in working in the army, I wouldn't be right for the job.

Its good that the army is allowing more women in; it was always a hot issue, women givers of life now taking life.

I think it also takes a certain type of person. Strong willed, physically fit, mentally strong etc...

Actually in Singapore, men SHOULD join the army....
and its optional for women.
and NO WAY am i gonna join the army...its urm boring ;)

Did anyone (in the US) notice that after the 9/11 attacks there seem to be more war movies on TV and then they go to a "Join the Army" commercial, lol.

My boyfs off to the army after new year... I think he's stupid. One of my mate's joined the army before and got posted in Iraq. He had to claim that he was going to commit suicide to get away he was that unhappy. He said he couldn't cope fighting 12 year olds. Not many people can blow someones head off and not care...

I chose 'No' reason being, I wouldn't like to go out to war with a Government so stuck up there ahem leading there country to um...Glory and peace.

Here here. I don't want my Boyf to go. But he's going to the Remi so he wont do any head blowing... Still don't want him to go though :(

I have loads of army leaflets lol from when i leave school its something im intrested in and would like to do hopefully when i leave school next year.

Obviously if I were called to fight for my country, I'll do so, but not simpley because I would like to spend my time doing it.

I think it would depend on the war for me; if it was something like ww2 then yes but if its just joining it to be in the army then no.

I'am willing to defend my country with my life :)

My dad was a navy seal and is now a diver
my uncle is in the army and very high ranked
my brother relaods the apachy heli copters
so ye i would join

I am joing up for the RAF, possibly as a Copter pilot or the Army as infantry. I have the intelligence to do something decent, like a docter/consultant but I want to get away from my pretty much pointless exsistance.

Woman aren't allowed in front line fighting in the British army.

Why does everyone think they are going to get killed? You cant go to war until your 18 and if your new they would not send you to Iraq anyway

I all ready have Navy experience being a Navy Tiger and going through training when I was 11.

But I wan't to be in the U.B.C.S.
