We eat carrots whilst relaxing in our stables,
Elves are running round messing with the labels.
We have a thirty-six hour flight ahead,
All the elves will be wrapped up in bed.
No considiration for Santa as he tries to sleep,
Loud music and from shelves they leap.
Destroying all preparations Santa has made,
Through boxes of toys these monsters do raid.
Santa arrives with three hours to go,
Sleep in his eyes as he looked across a row.
Of elves all covered in bubblewrap and tape,
Santa went furious and shouted like an ape.
Christmas is ruined and sat there crying on the floor,
In come his nine reindeers galloping through the door.
We shall help yelled the nine,
Their aura made a light so divine.
Santa looked up but was still in a state,
On these nine's shoulder's rested fate.
For the next hour reindeers worked,
They got no help from those elves that lurked.
Till finally they began to lend a hand,
Mean but not evil were this band.
Christmas was saved and children could rejoice,
Jolly was Santa's voice.
They delivered the presents on that night,
Singing carols through their flight.
Reindeers had saved Christmas from the depths of despaire,
Now for elves Santa did not care.
So that is why reindeers rule over their elf counterparts,
Because they help bring Christmas to childrens hearts.
