Plasma Park is an online chat environment designed for teenagers. You can chat with your mates online as well as create and furnish your own private room. Plasma Park is aiming to open soon but we cant clerify an exact date.
Plasma Park ensures our visitors the best safety standards. We will be moderating the chat when it opens with experienced chat guides. Plasma Park is built on a Shockwave Player in Director with enhancements of javascript and dHTML. This means you need to download a simple Shockwave Director Player to enable you to view Plasma Park, but dont worry it's virus free.
Yeah, its back and better than ever. wink
Heres Dannys story, as previously posted on the temporary site which no one saw..
Well, hello everyone, its been what? 7-8months since Plasma-Park disappeared from the internet. Basically PlasmaPark was run by 3 people. Andy Ramage, Qaxpla and myself, Danny P. Both of my colleagues in the build of this chatroom left for other interests and activitys, such as college and work. This was a few short months before the downfall. Now, Plasma Park had accomplished alot, and that was shown by the amount of users and visitors we had. After a few short weeks of our forum being installed we had over 500 users. Anyway, we had the client built in lingo, everything was so close to completion until we got stopped dead in our tracks when our main programmer left us and took his server application with him. This meant that the client, which was made based around the server wouldn't work.
Anyhow i am currently attending college in an IT course set yo give me 3a-levels which should grately improve my current skills.
I think this pretty much wraps it up, i am no currently looking for help on this project. I will of course, shortly need designers but I am not going to waste mine nor their time until i have at least progressed with the programming.
Anyway, we (Alex, Emmet and Danny) are not just another 'wanna be chat' and to prove it, we are back with a demo ;)
