My starter kit lasted around 14 months and I went for a double bass pedal at first.
Soon wanted a proper double bass kit.

You have two bass drums or a pedal? If pedal which one?
@ Cortez, once you've got your natural rhythm tuned it's easy :p

I been advised by a mate to get a double bass kit.
How much are kits? I got some £££ from Santa ;D
Cool, I'm unsure of whether to get a Big Dog double bass pedal or a Iron Cobra, I can't get two bass drums due to space restrictions.

It really depends on quality. I think you can pick up a cheap starter kit from around £100-£120.

I have a big enough room for it, I just have to have it in a corner due to the other things in the room (piano, huge sofa and tv shelf (I think you can see that in one of the pics))

That's what I'm thinking of doing.
But I was gonna get a bass, but everyone around here seems to play guitar[part from 2 people who play drums].
I could always have drums in my garage/shed. get it fitted out with carpet and everyfing ;D
