(Only seen the second movie)
Name - Final Destination 2
Rated - 15 (I'm only 13 but still seen :D)
Genre - Horror
I thought - Scary. Woman gets her head ripped off in a lift door :D Then I had to get in a lift that looked exacly the same :S
Best bit - Woman gets spiked through her head (very gory, gotta see it)
Omg it's so scary yet cool! So many horrifying deaths.... all based on events that can be true. You can get your head stuck within a lift, and outside it, and yes, it can rip your head off. And you can get a spike through your head when your being rescued and the airbags go off. Gory, yet real. OK, so the hospital thing is so unrealistic and un-scary but the rest CAN HAPPEN :D (GOT TO SEE IT BEFORE YOUR HEAD GETS RIPPED OFF :D)
the breakfast club shaped todays teenagers, definitely.
go see it (:

More obscure films but very good ones
Festen - interesting style, but makes up for the new Dogme 95 resttraints with a fantastic story line.
Exitenz - very complex reality challenging plot (si-fi-ish)(makes matrix seem easy)
Antibodys - German phyoclgical horror film
VideoDrome - complex reality challenging horror(ish) getting on, but sfx are still decent and the plot is hard to beat, but its far from mindless watching.

I recommend Letters from Iwo Jima (2006)
I'm not a big fan of war films, at all. But this is probably one of the best movies I have ever seen. It's about the battle between the Americans and the Japanese for the mountain, Iwo Jima. Letters from Iwo Jima is from the Japanese point of view, theres another film from the Americans point of view that was released at the same time called Flags of Our Fathers. But the Japanese version is a lot better. However, if you watch one, you should definitely watch the other!

Schindlers List - If you have seen this then do as it is a very good film but you need to have quite a few hours spare to watch it as it does go on for a while but still a very good film.

CloverField, a new take on films, a complete difference to the current film 'norm' and leaves you with the same wonder the characters would in the film. Rating: 10/10

I Posted a thread on this movie because i didnt see this thread.
Across The Universe - http://youtube.com/user/AcrossThUniverse?ob=1
Its an extremely AMAZING movie. (If your a Beatles fan, this movie has only Beatles songs in it, the names of people almost allways are part of a song name, and they have some verses used as other stuff in the movie. Example - "She came from the bathroom window")
Im not sure what song that quote is from but its from one of them. Its a great movie and is worth buying.

There are SOOOOO many movies I could recommend. I work at a Movie Theatre so I'm going through a crazy movie-obsessed stage.. LOL! With that being said.. I haven't seen any new releases that I'd necessarily recommend to anyone.. However, these movies are ones I'd recommend any day (I love Comedy and Thrillers.. funny eh? LOL)
Scream (1996) - My personal favorite of all time. All the rest are in no particular order..
The Panic Room (2002)
Joy Ride (2001)
The Glass House (2001)
Cellular (2004)
Disturbia (2007)
The Life of David Gale (2003)
Those are my absolute favorites of all time.. I'll post more as I see the new releases!
