Actually when you are sent a dragon from the catalogue to your hand it shows 'silver' on the little icon, however any other colour in your hand.

Same with all different coloured furni like plasto, birdbaths etc.

Just because you haven't heard of someone doesn't mean they can't become hotel staff, if you cast your mind back. You didn't know about Helkat, Glitterkat, Gazsux or half of the staff until they got their badges. You only know them now because they are on the hotel staff list and have been seen in events and things.

To become a member of staff in the hotel, you don't have to be a previous habbo :)
