Right bit of history:

Djsimpson Designs originally started out as a rubbish crowded piczo site with a plain old proboards forum. So then I took it into my own hand around about halloween and made my own layout and got a freewebs HTML website. (which you can view HERE (http://www.freewebs.com/djsimpsondesigns) )

Then my main man on the site, [oli], decided to make an even newer version as I'll admit my version wasnt spectacular but it was a start.

Now we have Version 2 layout created by [oli] and he coded it for me (somehow) and set the whole site up for me as a surprise and I was shocked at the amount of work he had done in a day. He bassicly transfered my website over onto the new one manually (now I call that determination)

The forum did start out as a plain Proboards forum and now [oli] has made it christmassy and hopefully (fingers crossed) will make me a new skin if I ask.

After all this we have version 2:

DJSimpson Designs Version 2 (http://www.freewebs.com/djsimpsond)

EDIT: [oli] also made it compatible with firefox.

That is so much better than the only **** one.

Next step is to get a host other than FreeWebs, IE, a host ith CPanel, and a proper Domina name

Well, after you raise money for a domain which is like 8-10$ -.-, then you gotta get hosting for that domain which is like 20-50$/month if you want your site to go big or if you got contacts that do hosting you could tell them to hook you up :D Good luck with everything and the new layout is ay-ok :D.

It's far better than the old layouts you were doing, but I still don't like it

hmm its much better than v1. a few improvements though:

i assume you are using photoshop:

text for nav and content etc, shouldnt have an antialias or what-not on it. it looks bad. or maybe my eyes are going.

use a proper tiled background, yours looks nooblike.

make a better blend between site and background, either by using better colors or have a defined but style line. alternatively have a gradient into background. just some ideas, they could seriously improve whats already a very nice site.
