I have some problems

My boyfriend that I have been going out for about 3 months. A few days ago when we were back at school he told me something very shocking to me and my best friend.

We were in the lunch hall eating our lunch, both me and my best friend(his ex, but she was comfortable with me going out with him, or so I though). My boyfriend walked up to us and said hey and sat down beside my best friend, Mel. I was confused then gave him a weird stare, he just smiled. He picked off a few fries off of her plate and ate them, while smiling into her eyes. After he was done chomping down he said, we had to talk. I said okay and followed him to an empty table in the lunch room. I smiled a weak smile and said what? He said, I still have feelings for Mel. I don't want this to hurt our relationship, I still want to be friends. I knew I still had feelings for her when I saw her the otherday, I had butterflies in my stomach just looking at her. I said, well I think you should know this but, I think she still likes you too. The way she was staring into your eyes was the clue. After that I got up and walked away. He tried to follow me and say something but I just pushed him away.

I dont know what to do, because I like him very much, and he said early in the relationship that he was over her! Im just so confused.

Hes an idiot, he didn't know how to make his mind up, doing so, he spoilt a relationship that meant alot to you.
Its a tough situation to be in, its like being blackmailed. If you still love him then tell him you do, explain what hes put you through and hopefully he'll see what hes caused.

Its good that he's being honest with you, and telling you before it goes any further, so in that case, being honest would bring a good friendship?

I think you should be friends with both, if that ok for u

I will still be best friends, with my friend of course. I cant break that friendship. Forget the guy though, like you guys said, there is many fish in the sea.

He talked to me today on msn, and he said he was sorry for telling me that he liked Mel. I said it was okay, and if you want to leave me its alright. He said that he liked me too, he likes both of us. I was sort of shocked, or another feeling. I don't know who he felt for more.
