I cried as well. It was so emotional. Everyone was dancing then the alert came in as did the new year. I've never experienced anything like it in a long time.

Because it was the New Year!
Something else must have happened to make him cry?
Was there some kind of.. hobba ceremony?
Or something
Or just
Happy New Year
..
Its only a new year
It happens every year

There was just dancing then i assume MOD-Scamp sent out the alert and then everyone started shouting HAPPY NEW YEAR! however one person was standing at the edge of the stage telling everyone he was gonna commit sucide today.

I still don't get how you got emotional. :s Anyways, AU did this mass hotel-wide message, they did it twice (Might have done it a third time but I went asleep after the second one) cause of the time zones. I assumed they were going to do it once for Sydney but it seems they stayed up really late I think. Anyways, Happy New Year 2006!:D

I have one question..
Why would you spend New Years Eve on Habbo counting down rather than in real life counting down with your family/friends.
In my opinion that makes no sense unless you don't have any family/friends.

Practically my whole family was asleep except my mother who was in the bathroom. And I don't have friends who live near me, plus I wouldn't be aloud to have them around this late and I wouldn't be allowed at their house this late. Lol. Anyways, I was watching fireworks on TV from Sydney I think. And I wished my mother Happy New Year after she was out the bathroom... There's your answer RKO :P

o_O I never expected anyone to answer me anyways. Thanks I guess? :p
Well what I was doing on New Years was watching the countdown on TV with my mom and dad and when it finished I went to my friends house for a party. T'was fun. ;D

I was there for the first one they ever did, the Singaporians get quiet worked up about the whole event.
