omg yay fish.
I have a 45 gallon tank.
Yah, yours looks bigger... surprise surprise. xD
lmao, good luck with your fish.
But, er, watch out for algae in a big tank. once it's there, it spreads like hell on the loose.

Heh, I have a fish tank, and some of my fish in it are like 4-5 years old. Algea is a good thing, if you want to prevent any algea get some algea eating fish like plecos, I have two of them in my tank and some catfish which just eat all the dirt in the tank :)

Aren't fish ment to live in it?

If the thread starter got it for christmas, you have to wait a week before you can put fish in, and you need to do stuff to it so the fish can live in it.

Aww my fish only had a really tiny tank. But there was only four of them. They kinda developed a fungi infection and passed away. 0.o Anyway, at least your fish have plenty room.

Sorry it was really hard to take a pic of suttin small with really small lettering and a powerful flash. If u look hard the first one will say AG-55G PREM DLX KI 199.99 Meaning 55 Gallon Premium Delux Kit. -.- Burned people who doubted it was a 55 gallon

Magnet, what are you talking about? When you first get a tank u should run it with the filter running for 24-48 Hours. U can add fish but 1-2 fish per week untill the tank becomes fully cycled. I plan on getting maybe a few more guppies, Mollies, Albino Corydoras, an algae eater, Swordtails, Neon Tetras and others. I was gonna get a gold fish but in 55 gallons, they're gonna grow huge and eat my other fish!

Virtualize, Why did u put it infront of a river because of algae? You could have gotten an algae eater. or rised off your decor in bleach to kill the algae. But some algae is good.

Lol BigDawg, I plan on getting LOTS more fish....

Fish are exciting when you breed them. Its really awesome to see a female getting really fat and waiting till the day arrives that so many babies pop out. Then when they grow, u can sell them for some Money. :D thats waht i plan to do.

well 55 gallons is rougly 7 and a 3rd square foot of water so if you gues its rougly 2 foot ish high, 1 foot deep, and 4 foot across, cosnidering there very ish and rough, it does equate to being about right.

55 gallens aint realy that much thogh "/
