File Size Too Big?

When i try uploading my avatar onto the forum it says this:
"Your file of 64.9 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 58.6 KB for this filetype" What does this mean?

What it says, the file size of the avatar that you are uploading is too big! Try saying it on png. if you haven't already and if its an animation I don't have a clue :D
