Hello,

Would anyone be intrested in swaping their invision board licence for my vbulletin licence?

I currently have two licences:

1. vBulletin
2. vBulletin - Copyright removal

I will swap my vBulletins for 1 invision. The vbulletin with copyright removal, I will take 2 insisions, or 1 invision with copyright removal.

I will not give you files, but I will transfer the licences.

It's getting better. But vB with the CMS is still better in my eyes, but I need IPB for a few sites.

The latest IPB has copyright removal when you get the license key, just input that into the copyright removal and it removes it with no errors.

My site has IPB, well i think invision is better cause the CP looks so much better and the whole forum is user-friendly, whily vbulletin is a bit harder to use than IPB and may offer less, but i really dont know about vbulletin cause i never used it.

vBulletin is not as good as Invision.
Invision has basically the same features as vBulletin, but vBulletin has some features that Invision doesn't have and Invision has some features vBulletin doesn't have. But the AdminCP is SO MUCH EASIER and as someone said, the forum itself is user-friendly.

tbh imo no m8

Vbulletin is for more experienced php user while ipb is for a learning experience :).

IPB is better than vB. There is a current bug in IPB where you can get copyright removal for free - just enter any random word into the box :P

And the company behind IPB are more organised and more professional. If you need any help they will give it to you. Also I believe IPB are less "hackable" than vB's because there is something in the coding which people can connect to.

I think vBulletin has some tracking code for piracy purposes for Jelsoft, but it isn't secure enough. Someone has probably managed to emulate the vBulletin system therefore giving them access to the inner workings of the board.

Well for a site I'm making, I need IPB. If it was any other site, I would use vB.

In my opinion, vBulletin doesn't look ready for modifications... you often have to edit MANY MANY files, unlike IPB, thats what I like most about it.
Even though vBulletin might have more mods... they take MUCH longer to install.. thats one of vBulletin's faults.

Ok 2 points.
1. Swaping the licences or useing a licence for someone else voltates the terms the licence is under and is illgal.

2. Even if your not exsperianceed everything on V-buillten can be added, along with ALOT more stuff. IPB is good becuse when your exspecned, you can make your own mods easly, not just use ones other people made :D

Well you'd have to have them transfer the licence over to me. I'd do the same with the vB. You would have your own logins etc.
