Taken from an email sent to UK Hobbas:

Hi UK Hobbas :)

December is the month we plan to celebrate UK Hobbas (and all Hobbas
world wide). We will dedicate a special page to all Hobbas on the UK
site and we will be posting "Thank You" notes from various Habbos as
well. Your names will be posted on the site for a year as well (as long
as you're in good standing with Habbo, of course).

We will host two international ceremonies, Dec. 30th and 31st, in the UK
hotel for all Hobbas world-wide.

And, you will receive a special rare service medal (badge) for the life
of your Habbo.

We ask you to remember you are and always will be role models for many
Habbos.

This next bit is confidential. We ask that you not share this with
anyone until we announce it officially.

We plan to create teams in addition to the Habbo X team, which will
focus on interacive in-game safety and creative game expertise and
assistance. Once we create and work out these teams (and others down the
line), we'll contact you to see if you'd like to lead a team. Since your
knowledge and experience is primarily regarding troubleshooting within
the UK site, we did not encourage you to apply for the Habbo X teams.
The Xs have a different set of skills and experience. So please keep
your email addresses updated so we can reach you once we are ready to
launch the other teams. That is, if you're interested. There will be
more on this in the near future.

Thanks again for your many kind emails sent to us. This seems to be a
theme around the globe, with only a very few complaints. We're thrilled :)

All the best,
Becs

We can look forward to more than just X!

I thought that the L badge just stood for HabboX's on another hotel :s

Great news though

The HabboL badge on www.habbo.es (http://www.habbo.es) is the same as HabboX on the UK Hotel. :)

They havn't breached the Data Protection Act laws. Sulake never disclosed anyone details etc. it was the data subject themself (in this case the hobba) who has disclosed this email to someone.

The email isn't breaking any law, as it has no personal information on it.

and the hobbas have no signed agreement with the company so they can show the email...

Whilst it's not an agreement they have to sign, they do have to, or should I say did, have to sign a two page document agreeing for you not to give out certain information.

I may scan that in tomorrow and post it, if anyone is interested in seeing that. (Got it from the infamous Kreews)

would that krew be ddk by any chance ;]

but since the agreement is over, they cannot take any actioan as to the EX-hobbas releasing any info taht they shouldn't or did the agreement say not to release and info period?

From memory, there were 11 points on the contract, one of them having your name and address on there.

I'll take a look at it tomorrow and PM you what I find, but I know for sure it said that if some of them were broken, the contract becomes legally binding.

Although, like you say, I expect it would have expired now that Hobbas are gone.

I believe that Habbo ES wanted a different badge because they called them something else, not sure what it is though, but I'd guess it starts with L ;)

Leveling prepear for a screaming.

Can you keep nothing shut in your gob! Things like this are kept confidential for a damn reason! People like you go ahead spoiling it for others. And i personally think that's unfair and wrong. It says confidential for a good reason. Can you not read aswell as being thick? Grrr it's simple just sit back and wait for things like this to be announced. Not get your huge oversized nose involved and try and spoil it all!

Josh, sthu everything comes easy to you because you are a little staff pet [sorry if that sounded e-rebel] but it's true, not everyone does everything staff tells them to do. And after what habbo did to the hobbas, why shouldn't he release the info?

I am more than used to people on the internet trying to make me feel down, so don't worry, I have become quiet used to it.

People like to know what is going to happen in the future. If they do not/did not want to know what was in this thread, it is simple enough to not click the link and view it.

I am more than capable of reading and am not thick. This section is called 'UK News' - And this is News for the UK Hotel.

Look, Josh Has a Point. if the document was confidential it should not of bin revealed by a document holder that in retrospect should not be handling It.

Whilst I understand both of your points, it is a little late for me to remove anything out of the post as the 300 seconds have now elapsed.

In the morning a Moderator will probably view the thread and gave there input, anyway.

But why would the give a document that was so secret out if they had just gotten rid of the very people the email was sent to, knowing the way that some of them would react..

But staying on topic, i think it is a pathetic idea, they are basically rebuilding a new "hobba" system out of less experienced people with less commands....

Usually I stick up for the 'staff pets'. 8-]

But in this case, you really need to get your head out your back side pal. You really think you are something you've not.

Remind me, what exactly have you achieved?

Fine, it's not our business to know whats on the contract or whatever, and to be honest I'm not even bothered, but who are you to come on here talking to members of this forum like that, making out your all so holy and mighty, because if I remember correctly Josh, before you got in with Callie and co, you were a little rebel scripter where you not?

You know what they say... A leopard never changes it spots.

Oh deary me. Another one.
For one i don't even know you. Who knows i might even like you if i gto to know you like wise in your position!
One thing i tried to get across when things were not as patched up as they are now is the fact that i never have and never will as you call it "script" I was mearly a target. My rooms were targetted so on do forth as the story goes. So you're right a leopard never changes it spots i'll stick with avoiding third party tools on a pixelated hotel just like i always have.

I agree, and I'm not judging you mate. I seen you around today and you seem a nice enough guy, I just hate when I see people speaking to others in the way you did... It was as if you were better than they guys?

You maybe didn't mean it to come across in that sence, but that's the way I took it. I wasn't having a personal dig to you, as like you say I don't actually properly know you. :]

Agreed, they know they cant cope on Habbo with just Moderator's no matter how many they employ. Im guessing the new teams will act like feeble Hobba's trying to set down the law by word of mouth instead of having any essential tools which would appeal to account thief's who would try to take them again.

The hobbas were made reduntant because of security issues.

Any new team that's coming, especially if it's adjescant to the X's, means it's probably another community team. Why would Habbo recruit another security force when they are still recruiting MODs and are paying them for it? Seems silly business-wise to me.

To have access to HK they would have had to have been police vetted. Say that Habbo decided to take on 20 people with all the old hobba tools give them access to HK after having them police vetted. It would have been difficult to do it to all the old hobbas but if they were to create a new hobba team from scrath it wouldn't be so hard.

Without making this sound to contrasting, Habbo will cope just fine with wat is coming up. A lot more moderators around the hotel more moderators on duty during one shift will work just as well as the Hobba system did. The more they employ the better it will work and who knows it might even work out better in the long run.

Maybe thats right but you are saying you are certain of this whereas mine is just an opinion, neither of us can tell the future so we will have to wait and see, I doubt that every Moderator for Habbo is going to be competent.
