I have a really old and slow digital cam and these were some of the good ones. These were taken a few months ago. He turned one year old on Boxing day and his name is Jimmy. XD It's better if the pictures are smaller

Lol.. thanks for the comments. Turtles are the MESSIEST creatures alive, the filter gets clogged up so quickly its unbelieveable. They also require a lots of space to swim. Ya and they need a heater and special light to warm them and give them the right vitamins

some sure can. I think mine lives to about 40-75 years if cared for properly.
They get really big too so you need a really big tank when they get older.

You'd need a lot of time to care for a turtle, but they beat everyday pets, lmao.

Its like on the moon with turtles. =] They move so slow, its cute.:) I want one haha. It can match my slowness. And i would get a rabbit, slow and easy wins the race. =]

Haha they aren't actually slow. If they see you with food they swim quickly towards you and hit their head on the glass xD And you don't really you don't need much time because you only feed them one or two times a day and you just wash the filter and change the water once a week

EDIT: and they bite HARD

You gotta be careful it doesn't roll onto its back or something when you let it out of the water for a bit. If they get too stressed they just die ;o

I'm SURE that's a terrapin... :S Oh well, it's wicked! My half-sister had one when she was little apparently, and killed it by one too many trips down the slide at the local park... Oh yeah! I remember at this shop there was a rare elephant nosed terrapin (i doubt that was it's real name, just some lazy shop keeper called it that probably). It scared the living hell outta me! It was huge and grey and literally rammed itself at the glass at me! It was funny when its nose stretched out the water, though, to breathe. I remember it smelling bad too when i opened the lid and got told off. ~GASPS~ for breath.
