Defence level for abyss?

Well I want to start rcing with abyss, but I'm only 67 combat with 45 defence.. Anyone know whats a good defence level for the abyss? Like 60 or something?

I think I started with 60ish, but the higher the better really.
Just means the monsters hit more on you.
Try wearing d hide armour? you'd be pretty safe, most pkers are 80+
